At the reception, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Chau Van Lam affirmed that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos was early established, remained and developed during the process of national buildings and defenses between the two peoples of Vietnamese and Lao. The foundation of the great relationship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos were laid by leaders of the two peoples: President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Souphanouvong. This great relationship has been fostered, remained and protected with the great sacrifices of Vietnamese and Lao people. Tuyen Quang has a very important positions and this place was once the cradles of the Lao revolution. Annually, Tuyen Quang is honored to welcome Lao Party and State leaders and students. Tuyen Quang has organized working visits to localities of Laos, signing MOUs with Xiengkhouang province. The two provinces had exchanges in culture and agreed upon cooperative development of tea and cattle. Every year, Tuyen Quang admitted 5 students from Xieng Khuang province at Tan Trao University; this year it admits 10 students to Tuyen Quang College of Vocational and Technology technics. Next time, the two provinces will continue to enhance cooperation in tourism, bringing into full play their potentials, advantages and improving people's livelihood. Tuyen Quang will do its best to contribute to fostering a special solidarity relationship between the two nations...

A visit paid to historic revolutionary relics of Lao in My Bang (Yen Son)

Xaysone Phomvihane, Member of the Politburo of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Chairman of the Central Committee of Lao Front for National Construction expressed his emotions and delightedness when visit Tuyen Quang, a land of revolutionary traditions, where it sheltered and nourished leaders of Party and State of Laos who led the people to the final victory of national independence. He extended his profound thanks to leaders of the province and people of Tuyen Quang for helping Xiengkhouang people in all fields and protecting the Lao revolutionary relics in My Bang commune (Yen Son), contributing to solidarity and the comprehensive cooperation between the Party, State and people of Vietnam and Laos.

During the visit to Tuyen Quang, the Lao delegation and the leaders of the province paid worship at temple of President Ho Chi Minh and paid visit to the historic revolutionary relics of Lao in My Bang (Yen Son).
