The Ambassador visited some departments of the hospital as well as surveyed the proposed site of the Kim Xuyen General Hospital located in Hong Lac Commune.

Kim Xuyen General Hospital has been funded by the Government of Hungary with a total investment of more than 16 million Euros, of which ODA capital is over 14 million Euros and domestic reciprocal capital of over 2 million Euros.

With the three main components as following : Component 1 will be the Kim Xuyen General Hospital with a capacity of 120 beds, serving over 46,000 people who live in the  Son Duong's southern communes. Component 2 will be in use to improve the professional capacity of medical staff, manage and exploit effectively the project, and a place for consulting room, technical assistance and project management will be located in Component 3.

At the talks, the Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Viet Nam talked about the fields that the Hungarian Government had invested in, and supported to Viet Nam including health, water resources, information technology and the agricultural.

Through details of the survey mission, the ambassador would like Tuyen Quang province will actively coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to carry out the work so that the project will be built soon. The Ambassador also pledged to support and create favorable conditions for Tuyen Quang province during the implementation of this project.

Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuc thanked the Ambassador and his support and concern for Tuyen Quang province in the past time. The province will actively coordinate with government agencies to get the list of investment projects, including the investment project to build Kim Xuyen General Hospital as well as actively carry out the preparatory work for the launch of the project as desired by the Ambassador.
